A Brotherhood of Love and Support

  • The mission of the ADODI Southern Region Board (ASRB) is to foster a holistic sense of health and wellness by embodying the Adodi principles to empower our brotherhood and communities we serve. ASR does this through innovative educational programs, social awareness, and supportive initiatives that promote collective growth and well-being.

  • Adodi Southern Region (ASR) is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization began on 7/23/11 during the Silver Anniversary National Summer Retreat of the Men of Adodi in Hamilton, NY, when 16 brothers from the South met and formed a fellowship. The Southern Region consists of the District of Columbia and the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. Rooted in cultural affirmation, community accountability, and brotherhood, ASR creates safe and intentional spaces for personal growth, leadership development, and collective healing. Through programming that addresses mental health, physical well-being, HIV awareness, spiritual grounding, and social justice, ASR strengthens individuals while building sustainable, connected communities.

  • The Chairman, Timothy Jefferson, serves as the chief executive of the Adodi Southern Region Chapter, responsible for guiding the organization's strategic vision, overseeing the implementation of programs and initiatives, and working closely with the Board of Directors to advance the mission of providing experiential, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth opportunities for same-gender-loving men of African descent.

"Our village is built on a simple truth: our greatest strength lies in our care for one another. My vision as Chairman is to fortify this foundation of love and mutual support by expanding our community safety nets and creating vibrant spaces for connection. When we lift each other up, we build an unbreakable, resilient community where every member can truly thrive."
